Apartment Description
Located in the heart of Hyde Park, The Versailles Apartments offers spacious studio floor plans with traditional architectural detail. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, entertainment and public transportation to downtown Chicago are all right... outside your door.
This place has roaches. They send out exterminators but still there are roaches. They come up the drains and from behind the stove. The apartment office closes at odd hours and for days at a time. Maintenance is unreachable directly and doesn’t work on weekends. Living here you will be living with roaches and they do not care to help you.

On 7/26/24 there was a one hour power outage. This took out the plumbing, elevator, door system, and package lockers. Everything but the elevators were back up in a week or two, but as of 9/8/24 (more than 5 weeks later) we still do not have an elevator. The building is 8 stories tall and laundry is in the basement. I also had roaches and ants while here.

Well maintained by maintenance person Nicholaus having lot of patience and high degree of perfection. Leasing manager has high level of work ethics as she approved the application in less than 24 hours.
