Taylor St. Property

Located right above the UPS store, it is very close to east campus. It is near all the many restaurants that Taylor St. has to offer. Mario of Mario's Italian Lemonade is the owner of the building. The place is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the third... floor of the building (2nd floor if not using the US convention i.e if you use "ground floor" as the floor at ground level), with a kitchen, front room, living room, and storage room. I do not know the square footage, but anytime someone has come in for the first time they have been amazed at the amount of space. The open bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the place is taken care of. The laundry is not in the unit, but it is on the property still. It is in the basement of the building we share an alley with, there are machines that take payment via an app as well as coin ones.

The AC is a window unit placed as in the center of the apartment as it can be. I have plenty of fans, and when it is not humid the windows being open is more than enough with the breeze we get. Believe me, it is not bad. The heating is a gas heater in the living room, which does its job very well. The fans can be helpful with moving that heat around when the winter is really bad, but I do have space heaters if we get to that point. Water is the only included utility; electric, gas, and internet are on us. The internet speed is 800 Mb/s. The utilities come out to $100-$150 depending on the season (cheaper in the spring and fall when the windows can be open without AC or heat running).

In terms of extra kitchen appliances there is a pressure cooker, George Foreman grill, electric kettle, a food processor, and a blender. There is no dishwashing machine, and we are not allowed to install any sort of countertop one or anything for the risk of water damage.

The bus 157 heading west is outside of the front door, heading east is across the street. It only runs on weekdays, but the 60 is a couple blocks west and will take you anywhere downtown the 157 will any time or day. There is a blue line stop about a 10-15 minute walk either direction too.
