Looking for a sublet starting May 15 – July 31 in Pilsen apartment! (Shared Housing)

I am currently looking for someone to sublet my room from May 15, 2026 until July 31, 2026, though the exact dates can be somewhat flexible and are open to discussion.

The apartment is located in a lively area at the intersection of Throop &... 18th Street. It is just a few blocks from Thalia Hall, many great restaurants, and several public transit options that provide easy access to UIC East (#18, #60, #8), West Campus (Pink Line), and the Loop. It is also about a ~4 mins walk to a local grocery store, and a short ride to Jewel Osco, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s.

The apartment has a living room with an open kitchen and one shared bathroom. It includes a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, and central heating and air conditioning. Utilities (WiFi, gas, and electricity) are shared and typically come to around $60–70 per month.

You will be renting the larger bedroom in the apartment. The room is fully furnished and will include a bed (mattress and frame), desk, chair, lamp, and mirror. It also has a closet and an overhead storage space.
A refundable security deposit will be required to cover any potential damages to the furniture.

The apartment is lightly furnished. The furniture currently shown in the photos belongs to the current tenant, who is now moving out, so there may be some changes in the living room setup after they move out. However, the apartment will still have essential items.

You will share the apartment with a 23-year-old female working as a paralegal, who is clean, respectful, and values a quiet and tidy living environment. I have lived in this apartment for about 8 months and have had a very positive experience.

I am subleasing the room as I will be traveling during this period.
