Hi everyone! I am looking for a female roommate to renew the lease for a 2-bedroom apartment in Pilsen starting August 1,... 2026. Graduate students are preferred.

The apartment is located near the intersection of 18th Street & Throop in a lively and very convenient area. It is within easy access to UIC East Campus (around 15–20 minutes), West Campus via the Pink Line, and downtown Chicago. There is also a grocery store within a few minutes walking distance, and buses to Target, Jewel-Osco, Trader Joe’s, and other stores stop very close to the apartment.

The apartment includes:

* 2 bedrooms and 1 shared bathroom
* Open kitchen and living room
* In-unit washer and dryer
* Dishwasher
* Central heating and air conditioning

The available room bedroom has a closet and overhead storage space.

The current rent is approximately $1027 per person per month, plus utilities (usually around $60–70/month for WiFi, gas, and electricity). The exact rent for the renewed lease has not been finalized yet, but it is expected to stay around this range.

A little about me:
I am 25 years old and currently a second-year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago. I live a relatively quiet and busy lifestyle focused on school and work, and I care a lot about keeping shared spaces clean and organized. I fully respect personal space and privacy, and I am looking for someone who is similarly respectful, responsible, and comfortable with a calm living environment.
