2-bedroom apartment in Pilsen
This is a bedroom in a beautiful fully-furnished 2-bedroom 1-bathroom apartment in Pilsen about one mile from UIC's East Campus. The apartment has ample space and basement storage, a full kitchen and living room, and a large pantry. The bedroom has... one closet. The landlord is responsive and flexible. The neighborhood is safe; I have lived in this building for 3 years and walked home from UIC late at night many times with no issues. The building is on 19th Street and very quiet but right near the vibrant 18th Street with excellent food, culture, and nightlife. There are many transportation options to UIC or to downtown Chicago including the pink line, the 8, 18, 21, and 60 buses, and many Divvy bike stations. I am leaving Chicago at the end of January and am looking for someone to take over one of the bedrooms from February-July with the opportunity to extend for another year in July. Tours and meetings with your potential roommate are available upon request. There are no move-in or realtor fees but there is a refundable security deposit equal to one month's rent. Furnishings can include a dining table with chairs, a couch, a TV and TV stand with storage, a coffee table, a full-sized bed frame and mattress, and kitchen supplies. They are all free but I have been using them for 5 years and have some wear and tear. You can feel free to examine them during the tour, and if you don't want any of these things just let me know and I will remove them before you move in.
